As suppliers to Multinational Food companies, we receive accurate, immediate information on food safety issues happening globally. The result: collaboration with all stake holders in the supply chain to address, control and reduce the food safety concern.
Independent Risk Perceptions
Ours is a proactive HACCP based food safety management system. Our ongoing regular horizon scanning helps us to identify emerging risks. We have built in adequate management systems and infrastructure to quickly and effectively respond to the existing and emerging risks along the food chain.
GMP & GHP Facility
Our manufacturing plant is equipped with hand wash stations, shoe sanitisers and body shower areas at the main entries of the processing areas, and automated hand sanitizers across the processing area conform to the food safety standards. The zoning of processing area prevents pathogenic cross contamination in the facility.
We understand the risk allergens pose to the life of consumers and in the most responsible manner, supply allergen-controlled products to our customers. Dedicated storage locations and processing lines for allergens help in effective control of allergen handling in our facility. The validated, evaluated and robotic changeover cleaning system prevents cross contamination of allergens within the facility.
Strong collaborations with the stakeholders in the supply chain is an important driver in raising any food safety standards. Our engagement with not only farmers, but the communities, and trainings provided to them inculcate a culture of food safety practice in their daily lives and translates to the entire supply chain.
Integrated Pest Management
The integrated pest management system in place effectively controls the pest incidence across our food chain. Fumigation of spice raw materials before entering our facility and the continuous trend monitoring tools for pest/insect ensures the pest management protocols. Organic spice raw materials are specially treated with Carbon dioxide under cocoon fumigation.
Raising the standards in Quality Control
Trust, But Verify! We have all the prerequisites in our supply chain to ensure food safety. However, dedicated laboratories and team perform Raw material analysis for physical contaminants and active ingredients. Analyses of finished products include visual, physical and sensory properties, allergens, contaminants, microbiological and chemical parameters. Sixty-Seven of the parameters analysed are ISO17025 accredited and participation in international PT programs ensures a superior delivery of Quality control. Added to this, the periodic Food Safety & Quality assessments by BRC, and by our global customers, and our internal benchmarking tools drive us raise the standards in food safety and quality controls.
